A scar doesn’t hurt—it’s a testimony. It stands as a silent witness that healing has already taken place. Every scar tells a story of survival, mercy, and grace. It reminds us to be intentionally thankful and to walk in freedom, not in pain.
When we keep revisiting the pain, we unknowingly invite tormentors—depression, anger, bitterness—into our hearts. These emotions build strongholds and create new forms of bondage. But when healing comes, let praise fill your temple. Keep your heart occupied with gratitude and worship so that darkness finds no place to dwell. A temple filled with praise is a temple that remains pure. Glory to God!
The enemy of our souls has long sold us lies—lies about our worth, our guilt, and our identity—and too often we’ve believed and bought into them. Those lies chained us in spiritual bondage. But Jesus came to set the captives free.
He said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” And when the Son sets you free, you are free indeed!
If you’ve encountered the Truth—walk in it. Don’t let the enemy trick you back into the very trap from which you’ve been delivered. Your past does not define you. The memory of who you once were does not determine who you are in Christ.
If you believe in Him, you are saved. You are a new creation. The old has passed away—only the memory remains. Your old habits may whisper reminders of the past, but now you have the power to choose differently.
Train yourself to walk as the new man or woman you’ve become. Learn of the Truth—Jesus Himself—and live in Him.
For in Him, your freedom is complete.
Scars don’t hurt—they remind us we’re healed
