“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)
“Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.” — Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)

Reflection
Have you ever walked
into your workplace or ministry and felt the tension in the atmosphere? Have
you left meetings feeling devalued, dismissed, or unworthy?
That may be a sign that
your institution needs a RESET.
But here’s the truth:
the environment is not hostile by default—it becomes so when the thoughts we
hold in our hearts toward each other begin to shape our behaviours and
interactions.
The reset we need doesn’t start with policies or programs. It starts in the heart.
God’s Word teaches that
the heart is not only the seat of emotions but also the source of thoughts and
intentions. What we think in our hearts becomes visible in how we act. When
someone offends us, what rises to the surface, resentment or grace?
When decisions don’t go our way, do we respond with humility or hostility?
A good heart-check happens not just when things are calm, but especially when we are hurt, frustrated, or overlooked. The thoughts and words that come forth in those moments reveal what’s really hidden in our hearts.

A Mirror for Every Role
- Directors — How you speak of your staff
to the board reflects your heart.
- Managers
& Supervisors
— Your representation of team members reveals your thoughts about their
worth.
- Staff
Members — The
way we speak about leadership when they’re not present shows the condition
of our hearts.
It’s a heart approach.
It’s a God approach.
Who do you need to see differently?
What attitudes do you need to release?
The RESET is all of us, starting with you. Let’s begin today.
This is not a top-down correction.
It’s a you approach.
The RESET begins with each
of us taking responsibility for our own thoughts and renewing our hearts before
God.

Prayer
Lord, create in me a
clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to think rightly toward
those I work and serve with. Let my actions reflect love, honour, and humility.
Teach me to lead and follow with grace. May the RESET begin with me. In Jesus’
name, Amen.
