Scripture:
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)
Life isn’t always as difficult as we make it out to be.
Some of the things that trouble us today—
the ones we cry over, stress about, lose sleep for—
they fade by tomorrow.
What felt like mountains become mere memories.
This reality should teach us something:
Not everything is worth our worry.
Not everything deserves our energy.
Instead, we are called to fix our focus on what is unchanging.
On the One who is constant.
Jesus.
He doesn’t shift with time or trend.
He isn’t moved by our moods or the world’s chaos.
He is the same—
yesterday,
today,
and forever.
In a world full of variables, Jesus is the anchor.
He is steady when we are not.
He is peace when life spins fast.
He is faithful when everything else fails.
So today, take a deep breath.
Let go of the unnecessary weight.
Refocus.
Because when your eyes are on the Constant,
you’ll find clarity, calm, and confidence—even in the storm.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for being constant when everything else changes. Help me to stop magnifying what won’t matter tomorrow. Teach me to fix my focus on You—the same yesterday, today, and forever. Anchor my heart in Your unchanging love. Amen.
